The Society Club is a bookshop/art gallery/cafe. The new venture of ex-nightclub promoter Robert Pereno, wife Babette and former publisher Carrie Kania. Book launches, poetry readings, storytelling and live music sessions take place regularly. The last event was a Q&A with Andy Warhol’s friend and The Factory’s in-house photographer, Leee Black Childers. At the moment the gallery is showing photographs by Graham Smith from his book about Eighties clubland 'We Can Be Heroes'.
