Originally involved in punk shop Acme on Kings Road, John Krivine opened Boy in 1977. It sold punk T-shirts and bondage gear and cause controversy with shocking window displays. The shop developed into a label and the Boy logo was one of the most seen and copied brands of the eighties. The label has been making a comeback for the last few years around Shoreditch, with reproduction Boy London T-shirts from Steph Raynor's Sick shop just off Brick Lane. This season at London Fashion Week, Boy London have collaborated with Urban Outfitters to produce T-shirts, vests and caps with the classic eighties design.
